Qu Art China invited Mr. Alberto Perazza, the son of Magis founder Eugenio Perazza and the current CEO, to share the design story behind the Magis brand on May 29th (Tuesday) from 19:00-20:00 in the L1 atrium of Star Mall. As one of the important exhibits of the Biennale, Mr. Alberto will talk about the process and anecdotes of the collaboration between Magis and Thomas Heatherwick in the development of the plastic spun chair.

In 2010, Thomas Heatherwick and Magis collaborated on the Spun Chairs made of plastic, which brings rich color choices and more possibilities for the swivel chairs. When quietly placed outdoors, it looks like a sculpture. And when one sits on it, the experience of a 360-degree rotatable seat gives one a fresh and happy feeling like never before.
