The Humble Administrator's Garden" Tribute to Wen Zhengming - Chinese Painting Invitation Exhibition

Being in the city of Gusu, it is destined to be inseparable from the garden.

The gurgling water and tiles of this small city in the south of the Yangtze River all contain garden elements and pen-and-ink complexes.

This exhibition, named "The Humble Administrator's Garden" and using Wen Zhengming's "Thirty-one Scenes of the Humble Administrator's Garden" as a model, not only highlights the literati atmosphere hidden in the architecture and layout of the garden and pays tribute to the master of the Wu family, Wen Zhengming, but also aims to promote the cultural form of combining traditional painting and calligraphy, emphasizing the importance of "poetry, calligraphy, and painting" and the importance of "painting". It also aims to promote the cultural form of combining "poetry, calligraphy and painting" in traditional painting and calligraphy art, and to emphasize the comprehensive and all-round nature of Chinese art.

"Ask the Garden of Suzhou" is the best interpretation of the Binlong Museum of Art's garden sentiment, through the ink and brush art of different artists to show the "ideal garden" to the eyes of the people of Suzhou. The exhibition gathers eleven influential calligraphers and painters, including Zhou Fengjun, Gu Yi, Au Guang'an, Shao Qi, Liu Mo, Shi Han, Yu Jiuji, Liu Sanyu, Yiyin Zenji, Wang Suliu, Guo Wenjie, etc., to depict the universe of gardens in their hearts from the styles of ink and brushwork in various perspectives, such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.
