Born in Shashi, Hubei, in 1970, he is a professor and doctoral advisor specializing in "Art and Technology" at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) School of Design. He is also the founder and creative director of the ART+TECH collective. Previously, he served as Director of the Digital Media Studio at CAFA’s School of Design and as co-curator of the Beijing Media Art Biennale. His art and design works have been exhibited at international exhibitions and art festivals, including the China Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale. He has received several prestigious awards, such as the German iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award Special Mention, and the Asia’s Most Influential Design Award.
