Born in 1979 in Enshi, Hubei Province, he graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in Design and a Master's Degree in Digital Art from Wuhan University of Technology. He is a cross-media artist, the founder of "Low Tech Art Lab", the winner of "The 2017 Lumen Prize" and "The Third Wang Shikou Prize 2018". Mr. Wang is the winner of the "2018 Wang Shikou Prize". He is a visiting scholar at the Department of Fine Arts, University of British Columbia (UBC), and a researcher at CPI in Seoul, Korea. His artistic work focuses on the cross-media interactive art of art and science, and his creative trajectory focuses on the exploration and practice of the intersection of the real and virtual worlds, including game art, interactive art, mechanical installations, media theater, etc. He has created "Low-Tech Art", which is an art project that focuses on the intersection of the real and virtual worlds. He founded "Low Tech Art Lab", which focuses on the fusion of contemporary media culture and interdisciplinarity, based on the electronic virtual environment of art experiments, exploring the interaction of light and motion, the algorithmic aesthetics of machine vision systems, and the perceptual systems of computationally-mediated installations.
