The etching Minos on the Throne is part of the Fennel Collection or Goupil Collection, a collection dedicated to the paintings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. Most of these paintings depict Dante's Inferno, and these works are generally categorized as "black paintings." A copy of this rare album is currently kept at the Rodin Museum.
