With the theme of "Dialogue", the work is a pictorial sculpture expressing the wisdom and elegance, spirit and philosophy of Confucius and Socrates, with a broad view of time and space. The exchange of ideas and the dialogue of souls between the two sages, representing different cultures, across millennia, not only expresses the concept of mutual learning and common development between Chinese and Greek civilizations, but also embodies the solidarity of the destiny of mankind. The Greek government has chosen the site of the ancient marketplace in the heart of Athens as the venue for this work. This site, a landmark of Greek civilization, is located at the foot of the Acropolis Hill, one of the most brilliant treasures of Greek antiquity, and was an important place of exchange of ideas among the ancient Greek city-states, where Socrates' famous Square Debate took place.
