The Puzzle of Five is a geometric representation of the Golden Ratio, an irrational number (1.61803398875...), also known as the number Phi, which is involved in the construction of the square pentagon.
This 3D pentagonal puzzle consists of prisms with isosceles triangles of varying heights but with bases of equal size. These prisms are distributed in a crown around a central pentagon. Numbers are assigned to each height. The smallest prism represents the number 0, the second prism represents the number 9, and so on, with the largest prism representing the number 1. The central pentagon represents the integer part 1, and the other parts represent the first 75 decimals of the number Φ in clockwise order.
